Each session is used to treat and prevent a multitude of injuries in 35F / 2C saltwater.

We use a very high salt concentration to simulate the effect of sea water.  Temperature alone induces a massive rush of blood and circulation which otherwise would not be present.  This effectively draws out fluid, reducing swelling and promotes healing. The high concentration of salt also keeps water from freezing while it feels like -15*C on the horses legs. 

Drug free therapy In icy cold temperature greatly reduces heat, pain and inflammation.

The aeration in water also increases the oxygen in the water. Relaxation reduces stress and in return the body and mind are healing together.
